Dave and I became friendly through our fathers! They both attended our B basketball games, sat next to each other (not hard, nobody else attended!), and after the game we sometimes grabbed a bite to eat. I remember that Dave had a warm smile and never said a negative word about anyone. I am saddened and shocked to find out that he has passed away.
David was my son's godfather and my closest male friend throughout the 70's and 80's.He established himself as a prominent insurance broker in St Louis. Later he worked in sales at Anheuser Busch in St. Louis and Atlanta..He always made time for his friends of which there were many.. He loved nothing better than an ice cold Budweiser and a Santoro's Pizza
